Privacy Policy – Panetti PrimoChef app

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This privacy policy explains what the Panetti PrimoChef app ("the app") does with your information. The app is provided by Ledende Teknologi AS (org. no. 925 949 086), Attn: Philip Antonetti, Chrysanthou Mylona, 3030 Limassol, Cyprus ("we", "us"). Contact: post@panetti.no.

1. Summary

2. Information stored only on your phone

The following stays on your device and is not sent to us:

Uninstalling the app removes all of this.

3. Information sent to us when you share your recipes

The first time you save a recipe of your own, the app asks whether you want to share your recipes with Panetti. Sharing is optional, and choosing it asks you to log in or create an account first. If you choose "Share", the app sends us:

We use this information to see what dishes people cook with the PrimoChef, to know who wrote each shared recipe, and to improve our recipe library. We do not use it for advertising and we do not send you marketing e-mail.

Please do not include personal details about other people, such as their names or addresses, in recipe text or photos.

3a. Ratings

When you are logged in you can give a recipe 1 to 5 stars. We store your rating with your account. Other users see only the average and the number of ratings of each recipe, never who gave them. Panetti can see the ratings of each account, so that we can remove ratings that look like abuse or manipulation. Tap your current rating again to remove it.

3b. Community recipes

When you are logged in you can send one of your own recipes to the community. The app sends us the recipe (name, machine type, category, number of servings, cooking time, ingredients, steps and language), its photo if it has one, and the display name you choose. We store it with your account.

Sending a recipe to the community is separate from "Share my recipes with Panetti" (section 3). You can use either, both or neither.

3c. Reports and blocking

Anyone can report a community recipe, also without an account. A report stores the reason you picked, the text you wrote, the recipe and its author, the random identifier of your phone and, if you are logged in, your account. The author is never told who reported them. When you block an author, the app sends us a report with the reason "blocked" so that we can check the author's recipes.

We use reports, the ratings of each account and the account details of authors for moderation and safety: to check content before and after it is published, to remove content that breaks the community rules (https://panetti-content.pages.dev/terms), and to ban accounts that break them. To limit abuse, our server also keeps a short record of requests, including the IP address, and deletes records older than 24 hours.

4. Deleting shared recipes

Open Settings in the app and switch off "Share my recipes with Panetti". The app then asks whether it should also delete the copies already sent to us. Choose "Delete them" and the app instructs our server to delete every recipe and photo shared with Panetti from your phone. This does not remove community recipes: remove those on the recipe's page (section 3b) or delete your account (section 4a). You can also delete a single recipe in the app; if sharing is on, the copy on our server is deleted as well.

If the app is no longer on your phone, e-mail post@panetti.no from the address you registered with and we will delete the account and everything it shared.

4a. Your account

We may send a 6-digit code to your e-mail address to confirm it or to reset your password. Codes are sent through Resend, Inc., which processes your e-mail address for delivery only. You can delete your account under Settings › Account › Delete account; this removes your name, e-mail, password hash, every recipe and photo you shared, your community recipes and their photos, your display name and your ratings. Reports you sent about other people's recipes are kept without your name until Panetti has handled them. You can also request deletion at https://panetti-content.pages.dev/delete-account.

5. Where the information is stored and who processes it

Shared recipes, community recipes, photos, ratings and reports are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. on servers in the European Union. The recipe library itself (recipes and photos we publish) is also delivered through Cloudflare. As the technical provider of these services, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address when your phone contacts our servers. Cloudflare acts on our instructions and does not use this data for its own purposes. Transfers between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS).

Resend, Inc. (United States) delivers confirmation e-mails, and the moderation notices that tell Panetti about new community recipes and reports, under standard contractual clauses. A moderation notice contains the recipe name, the display name and the reason for a report, never the identity of the person who reported it.

Apart from what you choose to make public in the community, we do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

6. Retention

Shared recipes are kept until you delete them as described in section 4, or until we remove them. Community recipes are kept until you remove them or delete your account. A recipe Panetti rejects or hides is no longer shown to anyone, but stays stored until then. Ratings are kept until you remove them, delete your account, or Panetti removes them. Open reports are kept until Panetti has handled them. Handled reports are deleted with the recipe they concern or, if the author had already removed it, when the author's account is deleted. A ban is kept with the account until the account is deleted. Technical logs kept by our hosting provider are deleted automatically after a short period.

7. Photos and camera

When you add a photo to a recipe, the app asks for permission to use the camera or your photo library. The app only uses the single photo you pick, resizes it and stores it with that recipe. It does not scan or upload your other photos.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

9. Your rights

Under the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of information relating to you, and you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). You can exercise these rights from the app (Settings › Account) or by e-mail to post@panetti.no.

10. Changes

We will update this page when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
